ICC releases list of Elite Umpires for 2012/13 season; Llong replaces Doctrove

The ICC on Monday released a list of the Emirates Elite Panel of Umpires for the 2012/13 season and also the referees for the upcoming World Twenty20 2012 in Sri Lanka.

The ICC on Monday released a list of the Emirates Elite Panel of Umpires for the 2012/13 season and also the referees for the upcoming World Twenty20 2012 in Sri Lanka. The only change in the 12-man Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires is Englishman Nigel Llong replacing Billy Doctrove, who recently retired from officiating International Cricket.

Following is the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires for 2012-13:

Billy Bowden (New Zealand)

Aleem Dar (Pakistan)

Steve Davis (Australia)

Kumar Dharmasena (Sri Lanka)

Marais Erasmus (South Africa)

Ian Gould (England)

Tony Hill (New Zealand)

Richard Kettleborough (England)

Nigel Llong (England)

Asad Rauf (Pakistan)

Simon Taufel (Australia)

Rodney Tucker (Australia)

The above 12 Umpires along with Australian Bruce Oxenford to officiate in the ICC World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012. The Match Referees for the ICC World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012 are Ranjan Madugalle and Jeff Crowe.
