Irfan Pathan (MOM): It came out really nicely, credit should go to the batsmen, especially Unmukt in the middle overs and the bowlers did the job with runs on the board. My strength is to get wickets with the new ball when it is swinging, I'm looking to improve on my strengths and I'm talking to some people as well. Today's wicket was a bit up and down, we have a good attack and hopefully we can go far in the competition.

Jayawardene: It was a good start, along the way we made mistakes, but we can discuss that and improve. We wanted to keep wickets, but we all got twenties and got out, but at the end of the day the bowlers bowled really well, hit the deck hard and that brought us rewards. Morkel with three wickets at the top put them back. Fielding was ok, but we still can improve. It's just the start, we have to make sure we keep the momentum.

Gambhir: 'This is what this format is, Bala had a rough day, we thought we could restrict them to 140 but the momentum shifts quickly. If one of us had got 70 we would've been in it. Credit to the Delhi side, Irfan and Morne did really well at the top. Today was very embarrassing, hope we will bounce back in the next game. We have talent and hopefully we will live up to our expectations
