Australia take on West Indies in the second Semi Final at Colombo on Friday. The Aussies made it to the Semi Finals despite losing to Pakistan in their last Super Eights match at the R Premadasa Stadium by a huge margin.

Australia take on West Indies in the second Semi Final at Colombo on Friday. The Aussies made it to the Semi Finals despite losing to Pakistan in their last Super Eights match at the R Premadasa Stadium by a huge margin. George Bailey, the Skipper and the other batsmen completely failed to get terms to the spin bowling from Pakistan. The Aussies needed to chase 150 but they settled to George Baileyget just the 112 target which guaranteed them a place in the Semis.

The batting for the Aussies has been heavily relying on Shane Watson along with David Warner and Michael Hussey. The other batsmen simply haven’t contributed much in the tournament. Fortunately they would be playing against West Indies in the Semi Final on Friday, a team that has only one quality spinner in Sunil Narine.
