Local Dominican boy Shane Shillingford was a nightmare for the visitors as the tall off spinner claimed 4 for 77 in 34 overs. Shilingford got the ball to kick up with sharp turn to make life miserable for the Australian batsmen.
Batting first after winning the toss, Australia lost a wicket in the 2nd over of the Test Match itself to Ravi Rampaul.
