Delhi are currently languishing at the eighth position in the points table, with two wins and three losses from five matches. In their last match, they had a poor outing against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and went down in the contest by 16 runs. As for Punjab, they were dismantled by the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and lost their last match by seven wickets.
Mustafizur Rahman had a horror game in the last match as he was carted to all parts of the ground by Dinesh Karthik. Anrich Nortje could come in for him. The rest of the bowlers did a decent job though Kuldeep Yadav had a rare off-day.
In the batting, Prithvi Shaw and David Warner have been in good form, but they need runs from skipper Rishabh Pant as well as the much-hyped Rovman Powell, who has done nothing of note till now.
DC Predicted XI: Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Rovman Powell, Sarfaraz Khan, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Khaleel Ahmed
Punjab looked out of sorts in the last game in the absence of skipper Mayank Agarwal. Their batting floundered as Umran Malik and Bhuvneshwar Kumar ran through the line-up. Liam Livingstone was the only one who made an impact. Jonny Bairstow needs to score runs while Shahrukh Khan must play a more substantial finisher’s role.
In the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar and Arshdeep Singh have been excellent. However, Vaibhav Arora and Odean Smith remain the weak links.
PBKS Predicted XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal (c), Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Shahrukh Khan, Odean Smith, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar, Vaibhav Arora, Arshdeep Singh
Top fantasy picks for DC vs PBKS clash: David Warner, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Shikhar Dhawan, Liam Livingstone, Kagiso Rabada
