England have won 26 of those clashes while Sri Lanka are one behind with 25. There have been no tied matches or games that haven’t produced results. The most recent one-day clash between the two teams was during the Champions Trophy in England last year. Sri Lanka had won the contest by 7 wickets thanks to Kumar Sangakkara’s unbeaten 134.

England’s highest total in a one-day match against Sri Lanka is 333/9 at Taunton on June 11, 1983. This was a 60-overs contest.
