West Indies have named a 13-man squad for the 1st Test against New Zealand at North Sound. Swashbuckling opener Chris Gayle has forced his way back in the Test Team. The last time Gayle played in the Whites for West Indies was in 2010 in a tour of Sri Lanka.

West Indies have named a 13-man squad for the 1st Test against New Zealand at North Sound. Swashbuckling opener Chris Gayle has forced his way back in the Test Team. The last time Gayle played in the Whites for West Indies was in 2010 in a tour of Sri Lanka.

The Selectors have omitted upcoming batsman Darren Bravo, who is yet to recover from a groin strain. Another young batsman Assad Fudadin managed to retain his spot in the West Indies Squad. The West Indian Selectors disappointingly ignored all-rounder Andre Russell and the big hitting Kieron Pollard.

Chris GayleThe First Test between West Indies and New Zealand starts from this Wednesday on the 25th.
