One of the world’s fastest bowlers in the modern era – Brett Lee has announced his retirement today from International Cricket with immediate effect. The 35-year-old Brett Lee had already retired from Test Cricket a couple of years back and since then was only figuring in ODIs and T20Is for the Aussies.

Australia are going to miss the services of senior players – Shane Watson and Brett Lee for the fifth and final ODI at Old Trafford in Manchester. The duo had sustained calf injuries during the Fourth ODI at Chester-le-Street. Australia have already lost the ODI Series 0-3.
