Having managed to have found some form at home in the previous contest, Delhi to look to continue their good run when they face Bangalore in the first match of the day on Sunday. Both Delhi and Bangalore have hit themselves into good form in recent times.

Delhi has won their last two matches, against Punjab and Rajasthan one of them significantly at home. On the other hand, Bangalore has now tasted success in four of their last five games. After a horrific start, they have managed a sensational turnaround. Even in the last match, they were struggling with the bat before AB de Villiers and Marcus Stoinis brought them back into the game.

In spite of the recent wins, Bangalore is still way behind in the race. The loss of Dale Steyn to injury is a big blow, which means the major bowling responsibility will again fall back on Yuzvendra Chahal. Of course, Navdeep Saini has also done well occasionally. In the batting, Parthiv Patel has been a definite plus opening the innings while AB de Villiers has also roared back to form.

Delhi has been very good with the bat of late, and it starts with the experienced Shikhar Dhawan, who has lifted himself after a not so impressive start. Rishabh Pant's World Cup axe has also seen him bat with greater determination. Then of course, there is Prithvi Shaw and skipper Shreyas Iyer, who has also made an impression.

Like Bangalore, bowling is also a worrying factor for Delhi. Kagiso Rabada has been very good right through. A lot though has been expected of others who have not quite come good. Thankfully for Delhi, Sandeep Lamichhane did well in the last match against Punjab. With 14 points in their kitty, they look well on way to qualify for the play-offs as of now.
