The top scorer of the Hurricanes’ innings was no.3 Travis Birt who made 44 from 26 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. South African offie Johan Botha bowled well for the hosts taking 2 for 28 in his four overs.

Adelaide Strikers in the run-chase were restricted to 157 for 8 because of Doherty’s good bowling show. Doherty infact opened the bowling attack for the Hurricanes. Pakistani pacer Rana Naved-ul-Hasan chipped in with a couple of wickets as well. For the losing side, Tom Cooper was the top scorer with 43 from 27 balls with 5 fours and a six.
