Pakistani batting failed for the second consecutive time in two days to see South Africa ease to a 2-0 cleansweep in the 2-T20I Series in Abu Dhabi. Pakistan who batted first after winning the toss could come up with a disappointing 120 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs. The top scorer of the innings was once again Misbah-Ul-Haq who made a steady 33 from 38 balls. The bowling star for the Proteas was Rusty Theron who took 4 for 27 while Botha, the Skipper gave away only 17 runs in his 4 overs.

The Proteas got the target of 121 in 18.4 overs losing four wickets and this time there were no real tremors at the start of their innings. Graeme Smith a 42-ball 38 and Colin Ingram who remained unbeaten on 31 from 17 balls. Shahid Afridi with 4-0-13-1 and Mohammad Hafeez with 4-0-19-1 made the Proteas work for their runs.

Juan Theron got the Man of the Match and the Player of the Series went to Johan Botha.
