Credit should go to Dhananjaya de Silva whose fabulous innings along with Chandimal got us back in the game. Herath was injured, he could not run, could not jump, but one leg is enough for him to bowl on these type of wickets. We would like to thank everyone. Huge thanks to the fans, we had a tough few months, but they turned out and supported us. Thanks to Australia, you guys didn't have a great series, but we had to fight hard to win the series. |

Smith: It has been a tough series. We have been outplayed in all three matches and credit to Sri Lanka. Don't think we can fault our preparations. We were here early and had very good practice sessions, it was the first Test where we folded cheaply, it all started to go down. We have to be bit more competitive in the ODI series.
