Chandimal: I am over the moon. As a captain this is my first game. Sanga batted really well. Mahela batted well in the middle overts. They are experienced campaigners. They know how to pace their innings and in the end we won the game quite comfortably. I didn't tell Sanga how to bat. He knows about it. We have three former captains. They give a lot of advice to me. We will keep our fingers crossed and hopefully we will win the next game.
AB de Villiers: It is not the end of the series. Certainly a disappointing performance from the boys. Hopefully we will do well in the next time. The was South Africans are we will fight back that's for sure and we will try and make it 1-1 in the next game. We would like to win the series and that is why we came here. We missed out Amla today. He is a quality player for us. The boys are capable and I know we can fight back. The boys are used to the conditions. |
