McKenzie (MOM): Just enjoying my cricket. It's great playing for the Lions - the atmosphere was terrific. Quinton de Kock is an exceptional talent - he is one for the future. He did well in the U-19s. Mumbai is a great side, it's nice to win against them.
Peterson: Pretty happy. They dominated the first 6 overs of the day but our left arm spinner got us back into the game. We had new challenges today - we defeated Mumbai the last time but it's a new day. Quinton de Kock is a good player - he hits the ball nice and sweet. McKenzie played like a young man too - he showed his experience today. We know what we have got and we know what sort of cricket we can play. When we play as a team, we can be dangerous. That's what we did today.
Harbhajan Singh: The difference was that we didn't look to attack the spinners. It was a good cricketing wicket. McKenzie played superbly and the other youngster ( Quinton de Kock ) was superb too. Mitchell was the only left hander and we wanted him to go after the left arm spinner, but it didn't happen. Lions know the conditions better than us, we were 20 runs short but the credit should go to Lions. There was a bit of dew but no excuses - we didn't bowl well. We got a good start but McKenzie played the innings of his life.
Lions beat Mumbai Indians by 8 wickets.
